Turning course at the Schweriner Segler-Verein von 1894 e.V.
On 13/14/15 September 2024, the TURNING POINT Foundation is inviting young people to take part in turning point sailing courses at Schweriner Segler-Verein 1894 e.V.
This event enables young people between the ages of 10 and 25 to get started and participate in sailing. Everyone is invited! Intellectual or physical limitations or social or societal disadvantages do not constitute a handicap for taking part in the taster day.
Participation is valid for one day and is free of charge for all sailing course participants.

Start: 9:30 am
End: approx. 4:30 pm
Over three days, the Schweriner Segler-Verein von 1894 e.V., together with the TURNING POINT Foundation, offers children and young people aged between 10 and 25 the opportunity to try out our sailing sport, get to know it and perhaps even learn to love it.
Sailing takes place on keelboats of the "Sonar" type, a former Paralympic boat class. All boats are accompanied by qualified coaches. Capsizing is not possible and the safety of all participants is our top priority.
For one day, we get to know the boats and the sport of sailing together and try out our first manoeuvres.
Everyone can join in.
'Not-yet'-sailors are welcome to actively try out sailing. Curiosity and interest in sailing are sufficient. Previous experience is not necessary.

Do I have to be able to sail?
No, previous experience is not necessary - everyone can join in.
